Thoroughbred horses permanently imported to Hungary (for racing or breeding purposes) must be registered in the Hungarian Stud Book. Owners' duties for registration of import horses are as follows:

• - application of Export Certificate from the Stud Book Authority of the country of export
• - ownership registration (form to be downloaded below)
• - payment (payment details available here)
• - identity check
